Resort Village
Welcome to the Resort Village of Leslie Beach!
The Resort Village of Leslie Beach is a small urban municipality in the province of Saskatchewan. You will find this small community lining one of the shorelines of Fishing Lake within the boundaries of the RM of Foam Lake #276. Leslie Beach was incorporated as a Resort Village on July 1, 1999. Co-ordinates are 51.816 degrees N and 103.563 degrees W
The last Census in 2021 recorded a population of 41 permanent residents in the Resort Village. There are also numerous seasonal residents that enjoy the amenities of the resort village and the regional park. Within the boundaries of the Resort Village is the Leslie Beach Regional Park and just a short drive away is the Foam Lake Golf & Country Club which is also part of the Regional Park.
The Resort Village is governed by an elected municipal council consisting of a mayor and four councillors and an appointed administrator. Council meetings are regularly held the third Tuesday of each month, but the dates are subject to change. Please contact the office or e-mail to confirm meeting information.

NOTICE
· There will be a by-election held for the position of (2) Councillors on Saturday September 27, 2025. Voting takes place from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Administration Office at the Quonset.
· An Advance Poll will be held on Saturday September 20, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Administration Office at the Quonset.
· A Notice of Poll is attached to this e-mail. As the contact for your property, please share this email with any additional property owners on your property title.
· Nominees for the positions are Scott Hilderman, Robert (Bob) Johnson and Earl Puchala

Mail-In Ballots
– A voter who desires to vote by mail shall apply for a mail-in ballot kit, by filling out:
a) a Voter’s Registration Form (Form R, Schedule A of the Mail-in Ballot Bylaw) and;
b) the Declaration of Person Requesting a Mail-in Ballot (Form C, Schedule B of the Mail-in Ballot Bylaw );

Schedule A and Schedule B may be witnessed by either:
a) the returning officer, if the application is delivered in person; or
b) any other person authorized to sign oaths (Commissioner of Oaths, Notary Public, Lawyer or Postmaster) if the application is delivered by mail or electronically;
c) In both cases proof of identification as per The Local Government Election Act, 2015 must be provided to the witness whose signature appears on (Form C, Schedule B)
All applications for a mail-in ballot must be received by the Returning Officer on or before September 12, 2025. Ballots will be mailed on Monday September 15th and must be returned to the Returning Office on or before September 27, 2025. Once you have completed an application to vote by mail, you can no longer vote at the Polls. Further information to this topic will be included with your voting package.
